There is no contact form, because a form would need to store what you type and this site stores nothing. Email reaches the same place a form would.

What gets a reply#

Corrections and source citations. These are the highest priority. If you can point at a figure and say why it is wrong, or supply a current edition of a standard we have quoted from an older one, we want to hear it. See corrections for how they are handled.

Missing terms or topics. If you searched for a dimension and did not find it, that is useful signal. Tell us what you were looking for.

Questions about a specific number and how it applies to a situation. We will answer where we can, and we will say so where the honest answer is that you need a local professional.

What does not get a reply#

• Requests to publish sponsored content, guest posts, paid links or "collaborations".
• Link exchange and outreach messages.
• Requests for design services. This is a reference site, not a practice.
• Requests to remove or alter a figure because it is inconvenient for a product.

What we cannot do#

We cannot approve a plan, confirm code compliance for your jurisdiction, or act as a substitute for a licensed architect, engineer, building inspector or contractor. Anything structural, electrical, plumbed, gas-fired or subject to permit needs a professional who can see the building.

What we can do is tell you what the published standards say and what the numbers mean, so that the conversation with that professional starts further along.
